Razer Stream Controller X

The Stream Controller X, a new streaming deck from Razer, is likely to appear familiar to seasoned streamers and content producers. With its 15 LCD switchblade key buttons and readily swappable face plate, it has a very similar form factor to Elgato’s Stream Deck MK.2. However, the spacing between the bevels is a little different and, according to Tom’s Hardware, it is only somewhat smaller than Elgato’s variant. Both streaming decks cost $150 when they first went on sale, but Elgato’s has subsequently gone on sale multiple times and has even been found for as little as $120.

Users can program numerous actions into one button on the Stream Controller X by dragging them into the custom action editor. Users can even program activities to be executed sequentially or concurrently. By turning on the Dynamic Mode, they can also establish unique profiles for different jobs and transition between them automatically depending on the program that is presently running. The tablet is compatible with some of the most well-liked streaming programs and pertinent applications, like Twitch and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, making multitasking even simpler. Users don’t need to establish their own profiles because those programs already have them.

Loupedeck continues to power the X model, much like it did with Razer’s first Stream Controller. However, the previous model, which was a rebadged version of the Loupedeck Live, resembles the Stream Controller X more so than a close relative.
