First Android device to copy Dynamic Island from the iPhone 14 Pro is Realme C55

The first Dynamic Island was included with the iPhone 14 Pro when it was released, and it has since grown in importance to users of that device. Now that that iPhone has launched in September 2022, we have our first Android clone. the Realme C55 appears.

It is unfair to claim that the Realme 55 has a dynamic island because it doesn’t utilize that name. The Little Capusle, not the Capusle. Yet, I think we can all agree that it’s just a Dynamic Island with a different name.

It was only a matter of time before some Android phone manufacturer took the iPhone’s Dynamic Island as an example, and it has now happened. And it genuinely has a nice appearance.

In Indonesia, the Small Capsule was unveiled alongside the Realme C55 as a whole. However, it should be noted that there is just one hole-punch camera up there, and that it is encircled by software that makes it appear to be something much larger. Of course, Apple does something similar, but the main distinction is that it is attempting to conceal both its Face ID biometric security system and the selfie camera. It also does an excellent job of it, but before we can say whether the Realme C55 is just as good or not, we’ll need to see it in action.

Yet, the Little Capsule accomplishes many of the same tasks. Realme will eventually offer things like step counts and other fitness information in addition to the standard battery status and charging displays. We’ll just have to wait and watch if Android app developers create applications that utilize the Dynamic Island Mini Capsule correctly or not.

Of course, that is what makes the Dynamic Island so fantastic. Any app that has been updated to support it can be used with Live Activities, which puts helpful information at the top of the display and out of the way of other content. If everything proceeds as planned, developer support might actually be the key distinction between the Mini Capsule and the Dynamic Island upon which it is so obviously built.
