Recently, OnePlus has appeared to be at sea as it has battled to adjust to significant changes that have seemingly affected every aspect of the company, from how it develops phones to the software it runs on them. Since the Never Settle company always seems to aggressively pride itself on individualism and doing something new, anyone who has followed OnePlus from the beginning will have a notion of how disruptive this possibly was.
One example of this was the OnePlus 10T. A phone that is completely inconsistent with the brand’s earlier products, is poorly advertised, and, worst of all, is not very good. The OnePlus 11 puts OnePlus back where it belongs and righted the wrongs the OnePlus 10T caused us.
OnePlus phones should be a good value. They always have been, up until very recently, but the OnePlus 11 goes beyond that, as it’s one of the best value phones you can buy at the moment. It’s just one of the best phones overall. It has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, making it one of the first with the chip, and the new camera has Hasselblad’s tuning behind it. What’s more, this partnership is finally beginning to come alive, with the OnePlus 11 taking characterful, uniquely styled photographs.
This is significant because Oppo entered the market and made a number of changes, which looked to have stifled OnePlus’ uniqueness. The OnePlus 11 has partially brought it back by exploiting the Hasselblad connection, and in a way that Oppo hasn’t quite been able to do with the same alliance. However, this might alter with the Find N2 Flip or potential Oppo X6 Pro.
The design of the phone is also peculiar, and the camera module’s odd usage of curves and angles at first caused controversy. Change the phone’s appearance. OnePlus, make it appear strange if you desire. Although it almost certainly qualifies as being deemed cheap, try your best to avoid making it appear that way. The alert slider is the last item on the side.
The OnePlus 11 is a phone that everyone truly wants to use thanks to all these different features working together. Even OxygenOS 13, which is nearly similar to ColorOS 13 but has significant improvements over OxygenOS 12 nonetheless, isn’t that horrible.
The OnePlus 11 is able to reclaim what the OnePlus 10T took away and restore many of the characteristics that define OnePlus.
