Google is developing ‘Grogu,’ a rival to Apple’s AirTag

According to reports, tech giant Google is creating a competitor to Apple’s AirTag tracker.

According to sources, the tech giant’s smart tracker has the codename “grogu,” according to developer and leaker Kuba Wojciechowski.

Because they can be connected to equipment that may get lost or misplaced, these trackers are helpful.

It is anticipated that Google’s smart tracker will operate on a distributed tracking network, similar to Apple AirTag and Samsung SmartTag.

The IT behemoth will probably change the name of the dispersed tracking network to the “Finder Network.”

Both Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) are anticipated to function with the new smart tracker.

The product will be available in a variety of colors and may have a small inside speaker for sound notifications.

According to the rumor, Google I/O 2023, the tech giant’s yearly developer conference, will see the introduction of the new smart tracker.
